Built with sound engineering and solid construction the Model 566-54 passes all of Miami-Dade County, Florida Building and Zoning Codes. Tested to withstand winds equivalent to 54 p.s.f. or 140+ mph the Model 566 joins a well respected family of wind code doors.
Featuring 10 gauge windlocks that are reinforced and fastened to the curtain, Model 566 doors offer unbeatable protection with uncompromising construction. Available in 22 pre-finished colors and constructed to fit openings as large as 8’ (2438 mm) wide by 8’ (2438 mm) high the Model 566 is the popular choice. Doors that meet the Miami-Dade requirements are only available in Satin White. The model 502 is the "roll model" in the self-storage industry.
Features of the Model 502 include a 20 year warranty against chalking and fading, a 9 ½” fully enclosed barrel assembly making it ideal for low headroom applications and a universal guide system suitable for any jamb type. Can be installed by two people in 5 minutes.
Available Options
Split guide is available for doors up to 6 feet wide, minimizing packaging requirements and freight handling.
Laminated foil-bubble type insulation to provide a thermal barrier.
